The word, ‘Ferrocement’ is a combination of ‘Ferro’ and ‘Cement’. Ferro means iron or steel. Ferrocement application makes it possible to build thin-walled, composite building structures made of hydraulic cement mortar reinforced with layers of closely spaced chicken mesh and wire mesh.
